Cape May Warbler in Unst

Photographs from an English Birdwatcher who was among those twitching the Cape May Warbler in Unst on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. These are some of the last photos taken of the bird as it was not seen since late that afternoon. The stunningly rare North American bird is only a 2nd record for Britain and Europe. The Cape May Warbler was found 10 days earlier by Mike Pennington. The bird favoured a Sycamore tree and garden in Baltasound in Unst, where it delighted the small groups of enthusiast that travel great distances to see it.
