What is Muckle Shetland?

It's about sharing... A blog about Shetland blogging. All independent Shetland blogs followed on the above sidebar are automatically shared on Muckle Shetland's facebook account so friends can see new posts as they come available. Shared posts have a direct source link to the authored blog. (We are not responsible for content.) Muckle is the Shetland word for big or huge, as peerie is for small or little. Muckle Shetland was started as a Shetland blogging network by Tommy H. Hyndman writer of the popular Fair Isle blog. This blog is not commercial, nor do I blog for money, though I'm not opposed to that if you have any ideas? New and still under development, I'm still trying to fix some peerie glitches in my spare time.

In the future I hope it becomes a multi authored source of information open to all Shetland bloggers. Muckle Shetland also welcomes all visiting non-resident bloggers to post their stories, photos & adventures of Shetland. I also hope that Shetland and the wider world see this as a positive resource and beneficial over all. If you are not a blogger, but want to contribute or become an occasional Muckle Shetland Blogger? Please contact us as we welcome your insights & wisdom. Together we are bigger and better... We are Muckle!
